PANODYNE RAPID ANTIBODY TEST - This rapid lgM-lgG combined antibody test kit for COVID-19 is to test for the detection of lgG and lgM antibodies of coronavirus from a small specimen of human blood. The detection works with proteins to indicate if a person's immune system has responded with the COVID-19 virus to indicate infection.
The point of care test, uses a fingertip blood sample to detect the presence of antibodies produced by the body’s immune system that lasts long after the initial infection. A positive or negative result is shown within 10 to 15 minutes.

Antibody Test for IgM:
This test detects IgM antibodies. IgM is usually the first antibody produced by the immune system when a virus attacks. A positive IgM test indicates that you may have been infected and that your immune system has started responding to the virus. When IgM is detected you may still be infected, or you may have recently recovered from a COVID-19 infection.
Antibody Test for IgG:
This test detects IgG antibodies that develop in most patients within seven to 10 days after symptoms of COVID-19 begin. IgG antibodies remain in the blood after an infection has passed. These antibodies indicate that you may have had COVID-19 in the recent past and have developed antibodies that may protect you from future infection. It is unknown at this point how much protection antibodies might provide against reinfection.
These lateral flow COVID-19 test kits are part of a range of Covid-related products available from Multibrands International, based in Bradford. The range also includes a CE certified Antigen rapid test kit which uses a swab sample to detect the presence of the SARS-COV-2 pathogen. Click here for more info.

Click here to read the press release on the governments website from Oxford University and PHE that confirms the high-sensitivity of lateral flow tests.
The Panodyne Rapid Antibody Test Kit can be used for rapid testing of patients with or without symptoms of the virus. A small droplet of blood is taken from the patient and placed with a dropper onto the test cassette, and shows results in around 10 minutes. The Panodyne test kit can help to determine if a person has been infected with COVID-19, even after the virus is no longer present.
The test is perfect for hospitals, clinics and can also be used effectively in businesses, schools, airports, seaports and train stations etc.
PLEASE NOTE: This Panodyne self-testing kit is designed to help in the control of viral transmission of COVID-19 and is not a replacement to the Official UK COVID-19 test. If this test shows a positive result for COVID-19 or if you are experiencing any COVID-19 symptoms you must follow Government guidelines in terms of isolating and testing.
